Rubber Rings for Sheep Goat Castration 100

Rubber rings are for castrating lambs and calves and tail docking. They are made from quality 4 way stretch latex for maximum opening but will still return to their original size.

When lamb docking you should dock to the third palpable joint or to the tip of the vulva in ewes and to the same length in weters to reduce flystrike risk. Shorter tail lambs have higher incidences of rectal prolapse and vulva cancer. Tail docking at a shorter length does not nessarily mean less flystrike.
