What is Small & large shoulders? 

This is a another feature started by us. How many times have you seen or got a rug that hangs so low on the shoulders that it rubs, or so small you can't do it up around the chest but the actual length is right for your mini. We own and understand miniatures and know they are not just like a smaller horse.

There is two miniature breeds . Miniature Horses & Miniature Ponies. There is a distinct difference in the  build or type between the two breeds. 

The horses are finer, smaller bodied, longer legs like the mini horse pictured above. The ponies have bigger broader bodies on shorter legs with shorter thicker necks. 

So small shoulders is like a standard size which suit horses and the large shoulder has a bigger shoulder opening for ponies. Hope this helps when offered a shoulder size.
