What does the S and the L mean after the size?

'S' is for "Small Shoulder" This rug has a smaller shoulder opening for the finer horse and pony foals that are only narrow accross the shoulders. 

'L' is for "Large shoulder" This rug has a bigger shoulder opening for the broader, more solid type of ponies like some Miniature ponies ans shetlands.
