S = Small Shoulder          Mini Horse or Pony Foal with very narrow shoulders. ( Mini in picture wearing small shoulder) 

M = Medium Shoulder      Mini horse or pony that is inbetween the above and below

L = Large Shoulder           Mini Pony or Shetland that have very broad shoulders
